"Kunmingosaurus" is a primitive sauropod which lived during the Early Jurassic. Its fossils were found in Yunnan Province, China in 1954.

The "type species" is "Kunmingosaurus wudingensis", coined by Zhao in 1985. It is known from fossils found in the Fengjiahe Formation (or the Lower Lufeng Series), including pelvic, hind limb, and vertebral material.[1] Rather uniquely amongst undescribed dinosaurs, the specimen is fully prepared and mounted.
