Kodoku no Gourmet (孤独のグルメ?, "Solitary Gourmet") is an ongoing Japanese cuisine seinen manga series written by Masayuki Qusumi and illustrated by Jiro Taniguchi.[1] It has been adapted into a Japanese television drama series[2][3][4] and into a Chinese web series (simplified Chinese: 孤独的美食家 中国版; traditional Chinese: 孤獨的美食家 中國版; pinyin: Gūdú dì měishíjiā zhōngguó bǎn).[5]
Synopsis
A lone businessman travels through Japan, eating at restaurants and experiencing specialities of Japanese cuisine as well as snack foods. Each chapter features a different place and dish.
