Kara Project was a 2014 South Korean reality television programme, starring South Korean girl group Kara. After the departure of two members, the show was created to find a replacement. Seven participants competed for the opportunity to be the next new Kara member. It aired on MBC Music from May 27, 2014 on Tuesday at 18:00.[1][2][3][4][5]

On July 1, 2014, Heo Youngji was proclaimed as the winner of the competition and new member of Kara.[5][6]
