Kappa Leporis (κ Lep) is a class B7V[3] (blue main-sequence) star in the constellation Lepus. Its apparent magnitude is 4.42[2] and it is approximately 730 light years away based on parallax.[1]
The star has one recorded companion, B, with an apparent magnitude of 7.4 and separation 2.6".[6]
