Javier Ramon Brito is a composer, music healer and recording artist of spiritual healing meditation new-age music. Brito, who was born in Mexico and has lived in the United Kingdom and Thailand, composes meditation music. His music promotes spirituality and holistic wellbeing. Brito has been influenced by the teachings of Kinesiology, Ayurveda, alternative medicine and other holistic disciplines. He is interested in music that can balance the meridians of the human body and composes music expressly for healing and meditation. He describes himself as an intuitive musician whose main concern is to foster spiritual awareness, healing and the emotional state of joy.[1]

Personal style

His personal style combines the sounds of piano and western classical instruments with oriental sounds. He also incorporates angelic choirs, oriental vocals and special effects. He normally chooses to use vocals without linguistically spoken words, because he considers that this kind of music activates the brain’s right hemisphere (the intuitive one). In his view, it is essential for healing purposes to activate the intuitive hemisphere in order to balance the brain’s rational hemisphere, which is normally overtaxed by our modern lives.

Brito's compositions contain also specific rhythms that he considers appropriate to sooth and invigorate the meridians of the human body. These include not only oriental drum beats, but also swing and bossa nova. His new-age music, Ambient music or Contemporary instrumental music incorporates and blends ingredients of different musical styles - from baroque to pop- with harmonics of a defined and colorful oriental taste.
