Javier Ambrois

Javier Ambrois (born May 9, 1932 in Montevideo, Uruguay - died June 25, 1975 in Montevideo, Uruguay) was a former Uruguayan footballer, played for clubs of Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil and the Uruguay national football team in the FIFA World Cup Switzerland 1954.
He and Humberto Maschio (Argentina), are the all-time top scorers of the 1957 South American Championship, with 9 goals each.
