James Sheridan (15 May 1882 – 1960) was an Irish footballer who played in the Football League for Everton and Stoke. He also played for the Ireland national football team.[1][3]

Career

Sheridan played for Cambuslang Hibernian before joining Everton in 1903. He spent two seasons with Everton and joined Stoke in the summer on 1904.[1] He became Stoke's first Ireland international however he only scored one goal for Stoke which came against Wolverhampton Wanderers in December 1904 and left at the end of the 1904–05 season.[1]
