Jack Barnato Joel

Jack Barnato Joel (29 September 1862 – 13 November 1940) was a South African mining magnate and a champion horse breeder.[1]
Biography
He was born on 29 September 1862. He had two brothers, Solomon Barnato Joel and Woolf Joel.[2]
Jack Joel was a mining magnate, Chairman of Johannesburg Consolidated Investment Company Ltd (from 1931). A Thoroughbred racehorse owner and breeder, he was married to Olive Coulson Sopwith (d. 1937), daughter of Thomas Sopwith. [3]
