Career
Iselin was born in Naustdal, located in Sogn og Fjordane, Norway and started singing at a young age. In 2009, after high school she attended Skiringssal Folkehøgskule, where she mainly studied music and then began writing her own songs. In 2010 she attended The Institute for Performing Arts in Liverpool, where she studied 'popularize music and sound technology'. Here she developed as an artist/performer, starting with new projects and cultivating her own sound.[2]
Back from the United Kingdom, she released her well-received debut single “What’s Happening”. Solheim was firmly marking her place in the Scandinavian music scene with her single, “The Wizard of Us”. Coming back to Norway, the Bisi Record label signed her immediately. Followed by her debut with “What’s Happening”, a tune that received wide airplay and was picked as the “Song of the Week” for the national radio station Radio Norge.
Her vocals are featured in Alan Walker's EDM song "Faded", which was released in 2015, though she wasn't credited as the featured artist.
Currently Solheim resides in Oslo.
