Irina Vladimirovna Gashennikova (born 11 May 1975 in Moscow, Russian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Russian ice hockey goaltender.

International career
Gashennikova played for the Russia national women's ice hockey team in the 2002, 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics. In 2002, she played every minute for Russia, winning three games, and posting the fourth-best save percentage, at 93.26%.[1] In 2006, she again played in every game, this time winning twice as Russia finished 6th. In 2010, she played for of her team's five games, winning two, and posting a 2.40 goals against average.[2]
Gashennikova also appeared for Russia at seven IIHF Women's World Championships. Her first appearance came in 1997 IIHF Women's World Championship, where she allowed twenty-two goals in five games.[3] The most notable of these performances came in 2001 IIHF Women's World Championship, where she won three games to lead Russia to a bronze medal, the country's first in women's play.
