The fire vine (Ipomoea lobata) is an ornamental plant in the Convolvulaceae family, which is native from Brazil. This vine is cited in Flora Brasiliensis by Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius.[clarification needed]
In horticulture, it is sometimes called "Spanish flag". This name is also (and more often) used for Lantana camara, an ornamental shrub.
