Ictinia is a genus of birds in the Accipitridae family. It contains two species:
- Mississippi kite (Ictinia mississippiensis)
- Plumbeous kite (Ictinia plumbea)
Both of these species are native to the Americas. The name Ictinia was first published by Vieillot in 1816.[1][2]
