"I Am Blessed" is a song by Eternal, released as a single in 1995. It was the second single released from the album Power of a Woman, just after they had scored their third #1 hit in Japan with "Who Are You". This gospel ballad achieved success in the charts and peaked at #7, spent 12 weeks in the UK Singles Chart and was certified silver by the BPI for sales over 200k within the UK. The overall vocal strength is such that it is often compared to Whitney Houston's gospel songs.[1]
