Hutchison Port Holdings is a private holding company incorporated in British Virgin Islands, it is a subsidiary of CK Hutchison Holdings (formerly Hutchison Whampoa. In April 2006 Hutchison Whampoa sold 20% shares to PSA International, Hutchison Whampoa still owned 80%.
In 2005, HPH was the largest port operator in the world, with a 33.2 million TEU throughput, and 8.3% world market share.[1]
Some of HPH's businesses were spun off and listed in Singapore as zh , a business trust under Singapore's Business Trusts Act.
