Hulkamania: Let The Battle Begin Tour was a professional wrestling international event held by Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff which took place in Australia. The event was taped by ONE HD.[1][2]

Background

The main event heading into the event was between Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. Flair came out of retirement for this.[3][4]

On November 21, 24, 26, and 28, Hogan performed with a group of wrestlers including Spartan-3000, Heidenreich, Eugene, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake and Orlando Jordan across Australia in a tour titled Hulkamania: Let the Battle Begin. The main event of each show was a rematch between Hogan and Ric Flair—the wrestler who defeated Hogan more times than any other. Hogan defeated Flair in all four matches, bringing his career record against Flair from 2–8 to 6–8.[5] It was the first time Hogan had performed in Australia.[6]

On November 21, 2009, Flair returned to the ring as a heel on the Hulkamania: Let the Battle Begin tour of Australia, losing to Hulk Hogan in the main event of the first show by brassknuckles.[7] Hogan defeated Flair again on November 24 in Perth, Australia, after both men bled heavily.[7] Flair also lost to Hogan on the two remaining matches on the tour.[7][8]

On November 21 Lacey Von Erich won a bikini contest, which also included Koa Marie Turner, Stephanie Pietz and Kiara Dillon. She also interfered in the main event between Hogan and Ric Flair, on Flair's behalf.[9] In other matches on the tour she was used as Flair's manager.[7]
