Hostětín is a village and municipality (obec) in Uherské Hradiště District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 3.63 square kilometres (1.40 sq mi), and has a population of 236 (as at 3 July 2006).

Hostětín lies approximately 31 kilometres (19 mi) east of Uherské Hradiště, 26 km (16 mi) south-east of Zlín, and 276 km (171 mi) south-east of Prague.

The village is known for its ecological activities. Since 1995, the village and other organizations have realized several projects, among them apple juice factory, passive house and solar panels. Because of this, on the 22 March 2010 Charles, Prince of Wales has visited this village. In 2015 there was a visit of Andrew Schapiro, ambassador to the Czech Republic of United States during Earth Day.[1]
