Eleventh Hour (Spanish: Hora once) was a dramatic television program broadcasted by La 2 of Televisión Española between 1968 and 1974, which presented 30-minute adaptations of plays, novels or short stories.

History

The program was on the air during the golden age of televised theater in Spain. It coexisted with other similar programs and series, of which the most emblematic was Estudio 1. At that time, TVE's schedule broadcast televised theater almost daily, grouping the plays performed in different spaces, classified by genres (such as Teatro de misterio, Telecomedia, Teatro de siempre) or by a specific peculiarity. In the case of Hora once, these were plays that had never before been shown in cinema or television.
