The Hero Hunk is a 150 cc motorcycle launched by Hero Honda in October 2007. It is offered in two variants, kick-start and self-start. The new 2011 model is offered with either rear disc brake, or rear drum brake.
Design
The Hunk is designed as a Sports Commuter incorporates a stepped up rear seats, sporty foot pegs, comfortable suspensions systems to enhance the riding quality of the bike.

All the above bikes boasts the same engine tweaked in different ways to sustain in the market. Hero Honda designed Hunk by tweaking minor pick up change in the mid range power of the Cbz Xtreme. The bike weighs 146 kg (Self) and offers a decent mileage of 57-62 km/L in city and 65+ in highways.
Features and specifications
The Hunk has the same 149 cc engine used in the Honda Unicorn and the Hero Xtreme, with advanced tumble-flow induction technology (ATFT) which the company claims will reduce emissions and fuel consumption.
The bike runs with 149cc heart (57.3 x 57.8 mm) producing power of 14.4Bhp @ 8500rpm with a maximum torque of 12.8 N-m @ 7500 rpm. The bike has the following design features :

Insignia
The Hunk features its own unique racing bull insignia on either side edges of the fuel tank. The bull insignia has worked well to communicate it as a macho bike that reaffirms that idea of manliness that is associated with rugged biking. The bull makes an important feature in all its communication, and is featured on its shrouds.
