Hans Dally (6 May 1916 – 2 April 1997) was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Luftwaffe during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Ehrenpokal der Luftwaffe all so a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Hans Dally was captured British troops in May 1945 and was released in December of that year.
