Hampton Academy (formerly Hampton Community College) is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form located in Hampton in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, England.

The school became an academy in 2010, run by the Learning Schools Trust.[1][2][3][4] A substantial building programme has been undertaken since this time, with the Lower Colleges having moved into their new premises in December 2012, and the rest of the school in the summer of 2014. A new Sixth Form opened in September 2013 (the school educated pupils aged 11 to 16 only before this time).

Hampton Academy uses the Kunskapsskolan methodology; a personalised, ability-related, rather than age-related, curriculum.[5] The school has links with local businesses which provide internships and work placement opportunities for older students. The school offers a performing arts specialism and has strong links with its sister Learning Schools Trust academies in Twickenham, Ipswich and Northamptonshire, as well as close international links with similar schools in New York,[6] Sweden and India.[7]

In 2016, Hampton Academy principal, Mair Huges, decided to change the name to Hampton High which will come into effect in Summer 2016.
