Hall of Art, Budapest (Műcsarnok in Hungarian, literally approx. Hall of Art, sometimes referred to as Palace of Art, officially Kunsthalle) is a contemporary art museum in Budapest, located in Heroes' Square, facing the Museum of Fine Arts.[1]
It was built in 1895, by the plans of Albert Schickedanz and Fülöp Herczog, in eclectic-neoclassical style.[citation needed] The Kunsthalle hosts temporary exhibits contemporary art.[1]
