Go Insane is the second solo album by American singer/songwriter and Fleetwood Mac vocalist/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. The album was released in 1984 while Fleetwood Mac was on a hiatus between albums. It reached #45 on the US Billboard album chart. The album was dedicated to former girlfriend, Carol Ann Harris, with whom he had just ended a relationship.

The title track, Go Insane, was written about his post-breakup relationship with former lover, Carol Ann Harris[1]
"D.W. Suite" was written for Dennis Wilson, who died the December before the album was released. Buckingham was always a big Beach Boys fan. Dennis Wilson was engaged to Christine McVie from 1978-1980.
