Gizem Öztaşdelen (born March 23, 1992) is a Turkish women's ice hockey player, former figure skater and certified coach. Currently, she is a member of Milenyum Paten SK team playing as forward. Gizem Öztaşdelen was born in Ankara on March 23, 1992.[1] Her father Ali Öztaşdelen is the founder and owner of Milenyum Paten SK, where her brother Umur Öztaşdelen, acts as the club's general manager.[2] She is studying Civil Engineering at Atılım University in Ankara.[3]

Career
She began her sports career in figure skating.[2] In 2010, she became runner-up in the junior class of figure skating Cup "2010 Başkent Kupası (2010 Capitol Cup).[4] She also completed a training course for figure skating in 2012.[5]
She continues her ice skating career as ice hockey player since 2006 in the family-owned club.[2]
Club
She plays in the Turkish Ice Hockey Women's League (TBHBL) for Milenyum Paten SK.[6][7] She enjoyed league championship In the 2008-09, 2009–10, 2010–11, 2011–12 and 2013-14 seasons.[8]
Gizem Öztaşdelen took part at the 2009–10 IIHF European Women's Champions Cup - Group C matches in Kralupy, Czech Republic, at the 2010–11 IIHF European Women's Champions Cup - Group B matches in Ankara, Turkey, at the 2011–12 IIHF European Women's Champions Cup - Group B matches in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania, at the 2012–13 IIHF European Women's Champions Cup - Group B matches held in Minsk, Belarus and at the 2014–15 IIHF European Women's Champions Cup - Group A matches in Ankara, Turkey.
International
She was admitted to the Turkey women's national ice hockey team. She was part of the national team at the 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship Division II Group B qualification matches in Izmir, Turkey.[9] In the match against Ireland, she scored a goal.[9] In March 2014, she was called up again as a candidate to the national team,[6] but she did not appear on the roster of the team due to her shoulder injury, which participates at the 2014 IIHF Women's World Championship Division II Group B matches in Reykjavík, Iceland.[10]
