Gheerkin de Hondt (also Gerit, Gerrit, Gheerart, Gerryt de Hont (died 1547) was a Dutch composer of polyphonic songs.[1]

Despite the enormous popularity of his songs, almost no biographical information survives beyond that he was choirmaster of the Marian brotherhood in 's-Hertogenbosch, and his 16 surviving complete works, many found in the songbook of Zeghere van Male, 1542, can fit on one CD.
