Ghantasala Balaramayya was a producer, director and actor in Telugu cinema. He is known for introducing actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao to the Telugu film industry in the Prathiba Pictures production, Seetaram Jananam.[1][2][3]
Biography
Ghantasala Balaramayya was born in 1906 (Pottepalem, Nellore District) into a Brahmin family. He started his career as a stage singer and later started to produce & direct. He is the grandfather of the music director, S. Thaman. [4]
