Gelvonai is a town in Širvintos district municipality, Vilnius County, east Lithuania. According to the 2001 census, the town has a population of 380 people.[1] The town has a church of Catholics.
Its alternate names include Gelvonay, Gelvonis, Gelvonių, Gelvony, Gelvonys, Giełwany (Polish), and Gelvan (Yiddish).[2][3]
