Biography

Persson was disqualified from the dressage events at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London, after a member of the French team lodged a protest that Persson was not a commissioned officer, but only a Fanjunkare.[1]

He won a gold medal in team dressage at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, together with Henri Saint Cyr and Gustaf Adolf Boltenstern, Jr..[2]

At the 1956 Summer Olympics in Stockholm he received another gold medal, with the same team members that won in 1952.[3][4]
