Farm to Market Road 1088 (FM 1088) is a Farm to Market Road entirely in Hudspeth County in the U.S. state of Texas maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

Route description
FM 1088 runs from SH 20 southwestward to the Fort Hancock – El Porvenir International Bridge, where it crosses the Rio Grande to El Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico.[1][2]
History
FM 1088 was originally assigned in 1948 to a road between SH 36 in Peters and Cat Springs in Austin County. In 1955, the road was extended southwest to the San Bernard River. In 1972, this route was combined with FM 949.
In 1973, FM 1088 was assigned its current northern terminus along SH 20. In 2002, its southern terminus was moved approximately 0.16 miles northeast to the new Port of Entry.[1]
