Fabrizio Frizzi (born 5 February 1958) is an Italian television presenter.

Life and career

Born in Rome, Frizzi started his career in 1980, chosen through audition to host the children's program Il barattolo.[1][2]

He later hosted several successful TV-programs, including the Saturday night show Scommettiamo che?, I fatti vostri, Domenica in and several editions of Miss Italia.[1][2] In 2015 he was appointed Commendatore della Repubblica by President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano.[3]

He is also the official Italian voice of Woody the Cowboy, one of the main characters in the famous Pixar Toy Story franchise.

Long married with the ten years older Rita Dalla Chiesa, he later married his second wife, the nearly 25 years younger TV presenter Carlotta Mantovan, who he had known during the 2001 selections of Miss Italia. [1]
