Eye, Herefordshire
Eye is a small village in the county of Herefordshire, England, in the River Lugg catchment, north of Leominster and south of Ludlow.
Berrington Hall is nearby; a Henry Holland house with Capability Brown landscape, built for Thomas Harley.
The village of Eye neighbours Luston, another small north Herefordshire village.
Eye has a historic small church with a square tower and some wonderful effigies; beside it is Eye Manor, noted for its fine decorated plaster ceilings.
There was once a railway station in the village.
Admiral James Vashon (1742 – 1827) was born here.
There is a village hall — the Cawley Hall, named after the local Cawley family.
