Extron Electronics, commonly known as Extron, is a manufacturer in the professional AV (audiovisual) market. The company has products that cover fields including: video and computer interfacing, switching, and signal distribution to professional displays and projectors.
In 2004, Extron entered the control systems market place and over time has expanded its control system offering to include control processors, button panels, touch panels, and several software solutions.[4]
In 2010, it bought the products division of Electrosonic.[5][6]
