Everton Luiz Guimarães Bilher (born 24 May 1988), known simply as Everton Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Serbian SuperLiga club Partizan, as a defensive midfielder.
Everton began his career playing for Ponte Preta, at Campinas. In the summer of 2013, Everton going to Europe and sign for Swiss club Lugano, where he spent one season. One year later, he moving to St. Gallen for an undisclosed fee. There he spent a season and a half, where he played 46 games.

Club Career
Early career
Born in Porto Alegre, Everton Luiz spent the final years of his formation at Ponte Preta. He made his senior team debut for the club in the Campeonato Paulista, before signing with Palmeiras in April 2009, on a four-year deal. In February 2010, Everton Luiz was loaned to Marília and played for the club in the second level of the São Paulo state league. He also played for Marília in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, making seven appearances and scoring once.
In 2011, after playing for Palmeiras' B side, Everton Luiz had a brief spell with Bragantino, but failed to make any appearances. He eventually signed with CRB in 2012. In June 2012, Everton Luiz joined Mexican club San Luis.[3] He made 10 appearances in the Torneo Apertura, before leaving the club. In January 2013, Everton Luiz was loaned to Criciúma.[4][5] He subsequently returned to CRB in March 2013.[6][7]
Lugano and St. Gallen
In the summer of 2013, Everton Luiz moved to Swiss club Lugano. On 13 July 2013, Everton made his official debut for the club against FC Wil 1900.[8] Eight days later, he has scored his first goal for the club against FC Schaffhausen in 2–4 away victory.[9] On 23 March 2014, Everton has scored a winning goal against Schaffhausen in 0–1 away league win.[10] Six days later, Everton has scored against FC Locarno in 2–2 home draw.[11] He scored three goals from 28 appearances in the Swiss Challenge League.[12]
In June 2014, Everton Luiz switched to St. Gallen, penning a three-year deal.[13] After initially playing for their reserve team in the Promotion League, Everton Luiz made his Swiss Super League debut on 24 September 2014 in 3–0 home win over Grasshopper Club Zürich,[14] eventually becoming a regular member of the first team. On 2 November 2014, he was sent off for two bookings as his team won 1–0 against Thun.[15] On 25 May 2015, he has assisted to Goran Karanović for the third goal in a 5–1 home league victory over Aarau.[16] He collected 24 league appearances in the 2014–15 season. In first part of 2015–16 season, Everton has played 17 matches in all competitions.
Partizan
On 6 January 2016, Everton Luiz was transferred to Serbian club Partizan for a fee of €350.000.[17][18] He signed a two-and-a-half-year contract and was given the number 25 shirt.[19] On 27 February 2016, Everton made his official debut for the club in a Eternal derby against Red Star Belgrade.[20] On 6 March 2016, Everton sustained a knee injury in league match against Radnički Niš, which kept him out of action for one month.[21] On 10 April, he has returned to the pitch and he assisted Valeri Bojinov for the second goal in a 4–0 home victory against Mladost Lučani.[22]
On 16 April 2016, Everton scored a decisive 95 minute equalizer from 35 yards in stoppage time against Red Star in front of 37,500 spectators at the Rajko Mitić Stadium in 1–1 away draw.[23] After celebrating the goal, he received a red card.[24]
