Eleutherodactylus amadeus, commonly known as Mozart's frog, is a species of frog in the family Eleutherodactylidae. It is endemic to Haiti. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. It is named after the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart "for the remarkable resemblance of the wide-band audiospectrogram of this species to musical notes."[1]
