Douglas O. Adams (November 3, 1949 – August 9, 1997) was an American football linebacker who played four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the 1971 NFL Draft. He played college football at Ohio State University and attended Xenia High School in Xenia, Ohio.[1] Adams died while cycling on August 9, 1997 when he was hit by a driver who had fallen asleep.[2]
