Domo-kun (どーもくん Dōmo-kun?) is a Japanese/Korean Stop motion series co-produced by dwarf and Ffango Entertoyment and based on NHK's mascot character, Domo-kun. It aired on both NHK and Nickelodeon in the United States and Japan in October 17, 2007 and will be soon ported to CBeebies in the United Kingdom[3] with a total of 26 episodes, each being two minutes long.
In the yolo version of Domo-kun, Nickelodeon deleted the voices of all characters except Domo-kun. Domo-kun's speech remained in Japanese and there was never any intention by Nickelodeon to translate it into English.
The TV series was released on two DVDs on July 29, 2009, individually or as a three-disc box set in Japanese only.[4]
