Diano San Pietro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) northeast of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,057 and an area of 11.8 square kilometres (4.6 sq mi).[1]
