Deluxe Television is a Munich, Germany based television and radio broadcasting company, which specializes in music content. The company was started by Markus Langemann and Cosmin Ene.
Deluxe group
Deluxe Television operates one Free-TV music channel and 7 Pay-TV music channels, including one of the world’s first high definition (HD) music channels. The existing channels offer the music genres Pop, Rock, Soul, Groove/Dance, Classic, Jazz, Country, and Lounge.
Deluxe music stations can be seen in more than 25 million households throughout Europe, of which 12 million are located in Germany. The channel is distributed via the Astra 1H satellite, cable and IPTV.
In the pay-TV sector Deluxe TV is operating the channels Deluxe Rock, Deluxe Soul, and Deluxe Groove. The company is preparing the launch of three other music styles and the start of a full HD channel called 'Deluxe Lounge' HD.
The Deluxe group operates two radio stations, Deluxe Radio and Deluxe Lounge Radio, both broadcast Europe wide via satellite, worldwide over the internet and via cable within large parts of Germany.
The company also runs a proprietary music download platform and produces music compilations.
