Design and development
The 8X's cabin size is approximately 3.2 ft. longer than its 7X predecessor.[4] It has also received an engine upgrade that altogether allows for take offs on shorter runways and improved fuel efficiency by 35% versus its competitors.[5]
The prototype, registered F-WWQA, first flew from Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport on 6 February 2015.[1]
