Crassa tinctella, the tinted tubic, is a moth of the Oecophoridae family. It was described by Hubner in 1796. It is found in most of Europe, except Ireland, the Iberian Peninsula and most of the Balkan Peninsula. The habitat consists of deciduous woodlands.

The wingspan is 10–12 mm.[2] Adults are ochreous-orange in colour. Adults are on wing from May to June.

The larvae may feed under decaying bark or rotting wood[3] or on lichens and mosses[4] growing on Salix.[5]
