Chiang Mai Main Line is the second longest railway line in Thailand, after Su-ngai Kolok Main Line. It runs from Hua Lamphong Railway Station in the central to Chiang Mai Railway Station in the northern, passes many provinces. The notable services such as Nakhon Phing Express, the first class train of the line. This line has many accidents, especially in 2013 and this led to renovation work on the track during late 2013 and finally opened once again on the 2nd of December 2013.
