At the end of 2007–08 they applied to join the NCEL Division One and their application was successful.
After consolidating their position in their first season at the higher level they finished an impressive second place in the 2009–10 season and gained promotion to the NCEL Premier Division where they again consolidated their position finishing in 16th place under the guidance of Mark Brier. The following season saw a change in manager, Mick Couzens came in from Bradford Park Avenue, after four competitive matches, Couzens walked away and was replaced by current manager Paul Quinn who managed to finish the season as high as 4th.
