Boris Kraas (23 July 1915 – 13 February 1945) was a Sturmbannführer (Major) in the Waffen SS during World War II who was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. This was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership by Nazi Germany during World War II.
Boris Kraas was awarded the Knight's Cross posthumously on the 28 February 1945, for his actions in command of the 3rd SS Panzerjäger Battalion, 3rd SS Panzer Division Totenkopf.[1]
