The black-crowned sparrow-lark (Eremopterix nigriceps) is a species of lark in the Alaudidae family.
It is found in Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, India, Iran, Iraq, Israel and Palestine, Jordan, Kuwait, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. Its natural habitat is dry savanna. It is also found in Velavadar in India
The bird can have a length of 11.5–12.5 cm from bill to tail.
