Bickleigh Barracks is a military installation at Bickleigh, South Hams which is currently used by 42 Commando.

History

The barracks were built by A French & Co and completed in 1941 during the Second World War.[1] They were occupied by 27 (Royal Marine) Training Battalion in 1945 and served as the home of the Commando School Royal Marines from 1950 until it moved to Lympstone in 1960.[1] The barracks became the home of 42 Commando in 1971.[2]
