Berri Oval is a cricket ground in the town of Berri, South Australia, Australia.
The first recorded match on the ground came when South Australia Country XI played the touring West Indians in 1961.[1] A number of Youth One Day Internationals were held at the ground in the late 1980s.[2] Having never previously held a major cricket match, it was selected as venue for the 1992 Cricket World Cup, staging a One Day International between Sri Lanka and the West Indies.[3] This match, which is also the only List A game to be staged there,[4] resulted in a West Indies win by 91 runs.[5] Major cricket hasn't returned to ground since. An Australian Football League (AFL) preseason game between Port Adelaide and Adelaide was played on this ground in 2004.
