Restaurant Beaulieu in Doorwerth Castle is a former restaurant located in Doorwerth, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1966–1973 and 1976–1979.[2][3][4]
In the first star period G.H. Brenninkmeijer acted as head chef. He was the father of the Dutch film director Stephan Brenninkmeijer, who was born here.[5]
The hospitality section of Doorwerth Castle is in exploitation with the hotelchain Bilderberg.
In 1969–1970, Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema wrote his famous book Soldaat van Oranje (Soldier of Orange) in the restaurant.[6]
