The Australian cricket team toured Bangladesh between 7 April to 13 April 2011. The tour consisted of three One Day Internationals (ODIs).[1] Michael Clarke was announced as the Australian captain, following Ricky Ponting's resignation.[2]

- Shane Watson hit an unbeaten 185, which included a record 15 sixes. His score beat the previous highest ODI score by an Australian (Matthew Hayden's 181 against New Zealand) and the most sixes, previously set by Xavier Marshall with 12 against Canada.[3] The score also included the most boundaries in an ODI innings, beating the previous record of 126 runs in boundaries by Herschelle Gibbs in 2006.[4] It was also the highest proportion of runs scored by a player in an ODI innings, scoring 79.74% of the runs.
