Arabian (アラビアン?) is a platform arcade game created in 1983 by Sun Electronics and published by Atari Inc. The player assumes the role of an adventurous Arabian prince whose goal is to rescue the princess from her palace. During his quest, the prince will sail seas, crawl through caves, and fly magic carpets.
Ports
Arabian was converted for home computers as Tales of the Arabian Nights by Interceptor Software in 1984/5 for the Acorn Electron, Amstrad CPC, BBC Micro, Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum. A Famicom version was developed and released by Sunsoft only in Japan as Super Arabian (スーパーアラビアン?). Super Arabian was also re-released in a two-in-one Sony PlayStation game, Memorial Series Sunsoft Vol.1, which also included Ikki.
