It is a diplomatic post of the Holy See, whose representative is called the Apostolic Nuncio to Algeria with the rank of an ambassador. The office of the nunciature is located in Bologhine-Alger.
Thomas Yeh Sheng-nan was appointed Apostolic Nuncio to Algeria by Pope John Paul II on April 22, 2004.
