Amb Jogi (Sindhi: انب جوڳي) is a dholak or dhol drum player (Sindhi: ڍولڪ نواز).
Anb Khan, son of Beku Khan Jogi, was born in 1974 at Tando Allahyar Sindh. His grandfather Kaanji Jogi was also a famous tabla player. He was interested in playing the dholak since childhood, so he used to give Dalda ghee box to play. He learned early from his cousin, singer Ustad Sodho Khan Jogi; then he earned thread of studentship (devotee) from Baradi Faqir. He then spent seven years learning classical tabla training from Ustad Nazir Khan.[1]
Ustad Ameer Ali introduced Anb Jogi on Radio Pakistan and Shah Abdul Latif conference in 1988; concurrently he performed on Pakistan Television (PTV).
